Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Samarpit Santoki, an individual based in India ("we", "us"), for the use of the Cryptathon app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these terms.

Cryptathon is a game. All balances are virtual credits with no monetary value. They can never be withdrawn, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for money or anything of value.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You must not use the Service where it is unlawful to do so.

2. What the Service is

Cryptathon is a trading simulation. Orders you place are matched by a real exchange engine against other players and market makers, but no real assets are bought or sold and no real money is involved. Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, or trading advice.

3. Virtual credits and prizes

Virtual credits are granted by us inside the game. They have no cash value and are not your property.
Virtual credits cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, sold, transferred to another player, or exchanged for money, goods, or services outside the Service.
There are no cash prizes. Tournament and season prizes are virtual credits and cosmetic items only.
There is no paid entry to any contest.
We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual credits at any time, including to fix bugs, run seasons, or enforce these terms.

4. Your account

A guest account is created on your device when you first open the app. You may save it with an email address.
One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts or share accounts.
You are responsible for your device and for activity on your account.

5. Conduct

You must not use bots or automation, exploit bugs, manipulate leaderboards, harass other players, or post unlawful or abusive content to the feed. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Feed content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive licence to display it inside the Service. We may remove content at our discretion.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided as is. We may change, pause, or stop any feature, season, tournament, or the whole Service at any time. Markets may halt. Data may be reset. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service. Because all credits are virtual, there is no financial loss that can arise from game outcomes.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
